SLIDE PIZZA ON WITH GREAT EASE
The shovel area of this pizza paddle, measuring 12.6 x 12.6 inches, has a front beveled or curved edge to make it easy for you to slide your pizza onto a pizza stone or sheet pan inside the oven. The slanted edge makes it even easier to take the crust out once it’s done cooking. The smooth aluminum surface–which is topped with a protective layer–will have your pizza sliding on and off the hard metal without a hitch.
FOLDABLE & CONVENIENT
Our pizza spatula folds for quick and fast storage. When folded or deployed the peel will be secured into position with a rotational lock mechanism. The handle, which is made of a gorgeous American oak wood with a decor ring and metal hanging loop, is also detachable for easy washing and cleaning. INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLEANING & CARE
Although the pizza turner is not dishwasher safe, you can make cleaning easy by first detaching the wooden handle and unscrewing the nut. Wash the aluminum peel with mild dish soap and warm water to remove any debris from the surface. A soft sponge may be used. Rinse the peel in clean water and then wipe it dry with a clean towel.
Another friendly reminder: never cut the pizza directly on the metal surface.
PERFECTLY SIMPLE TO USE
Simply sprinkle the peel with cornmeal or flour before transferring your uncooked dough onto the surface of the peel so that it doesn’t end up sticking. Shake the peel from time to time while topping your pizza, and use a back and forth motion when sliding it into the oven. And don’t limit yourself to making pizza – use it when you’re making artisan bread, baking cookies and pastries, or preparing homemade biscuits and crackers.
